Columbia Elementary School District

As the principal of Columbia Elementary School, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our family, home of the lions!  We are a transitional kindergarten through fourth grade school that focuses on building strong relationships and holding high expectations for all of our learners, no limits and no excuses.  I have been with the Columbia District since 2007 teaching 3^rd through 6^th grade, plus a 5^th-8^th grade community day class.  Throughout my teaching career, I have experience working with Kindergarten through twelfth grade students, so I have a good understanding of developmental stages when it comes to academics and social emotional behavior.  I am also a mother of three, two girls and one boy, which helps me practice my restorative justice techniques on a daily basis.  In 2015, I was hired as the Vice Principal and Athletic Director for Mt. View Middle School and Columbia Elementary for one year. I was then promoted to Principal at Columbia Elementary in 2016.  I absolutely love my job because I have the best staff, student body, and parents in Shasta County!  Please do not hesitate to call me if you are interested in learning more about our school, activities, and/or programs.
